I (unusually) had a weekday afternoon free, so Cedric and I jumped at the chance to pay Serpentine National Park a visit. It’s beautiful this time of the year – green with the winter days. We chose to hike Baldwin’s Bluff, a 6km return gravel track which climbs up to a beautiful view of the hills. From this top point, you can also spy Serpentine Falls.
We were hot enough by the time we came back down that a swim would have been nice…. but it wasn’t to be. There was quite a bit of smoke around from some controlled burning. Check it out in our photos below… we’ll be honest – it’s not ‘mountain mist’ you see.
