We were recently the makers at a “Meet the Maker” event at a gift store called Yoke in Inglewood. The evening was slow and lovely: we sipped champagne and chatted with people about our work, and life in general. Yoke is a quirky collection of items, many locally sourced. From lamp shades and umbrellas, to beard-care and brooches – you’ll be able to find something that fascinates you. Find out more here. We displayed a selection of our greeting cards, postcards, photographic prints and hand-embroidered purses.
The work we have available for purchase is largely a celebration of Australian landscape and flora. Melody’s watercolour designs and her purses explore the shapes, textures and colours of living-Australia. Cedric’s photography featured on our postcards and prints imagine familiar places (such as The Gap, Albany or Lesmurdie National Park) in new and meditative ways. His work also features some Mauritian landscape, reflecting on his roots. // You can purchase our work at cedricandmelody.etsy.com, and Melody’s purses at Yoke in Inglewood.
